The LHS Senior Carpentry/Construction class is building Adirondack Chairs using a Rockler Woodworking template kit. This is a fantastic learning opportunity for our students and the kit turns out amazing chairs every time!
Students get experience using multiple tools such as the table saw, mitre saw, band saw and router table. All exposed edges are rounded over and everything is sanded smooth.
Chairs come unfinished (spruce and pine) for $125 each and we can also paint them custom colours ($140 ea) or use a stain of the purchasers choice with 2 layers of clearcoat ($150). We can even add a custom sports logo or your choice for an additional $5 per chair!
